Position Title
-Senior Bookkeeper
Company Overview
-Paragon Property Management Group LLC is a Chicago based real estate company focused on property management and investments. We have four local office staff, three maintenance technicians, and seven remote staff based in the Philippines.

-The Accounting team currently consists of a supervisor/manager and two bookkeepers.
Position Mission
-Manage accurate financial and business records
Responsibilities
-Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process
-Complete bank reconciliation and client account record keeping.
-Verify transactions are recorded in the correct date, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
-Bring the books to the trial balance stage
-Perform partial checks of the posting process
-Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements
-Support Accounting Manager in preparation of management account monthly, quarterly, and annual audit.
Job Requirements and Skills
-Extensive bookkeeping experience, five years preferred.
-Experience in the property management industry, two years preferred
-Experienced in property management software, preferably Buildium
-Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
-Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
-Data entry skills and attention to detail
-Mastery of using spreadsheets to track, organize and manage information
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
-BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
-Excellent communication skills in English. Must be able to communicate complex topics simply and clearly to executives, the operations team, and clients.
General Requirements
-Well-organized home office setup without outside noise or distraction
-Reliable power and internet required. Backup systems are required.
-Working hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm CST with 30-minute lunch break.
-Full-time, minimum 40 hrs per week
-Be fully focused during work hours, do not work on other jobs, freelance work, or personal items
-Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills

Pay Rate
-Pay is negotiable based on candidate's experience and qualifications
