We are looking to hire one back-end software engineer and one DevOps engineer.

FOR BACK-END SOFTWARE ENGINEER:

We are looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer to work with a fantastic company based in the United States. As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic of our applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure that our backend functions properly and meets the needs of our customers.

What you will do:
- Build complex matching systems that are the lifeblood of our company – our goal is to
identify and provide the best possible matches for every Researcher to conduct their
interviews.
- Design and build scalable backend applications to support the growing needs of the
business, working with a variety of technologies.
- Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases and caching technologies like Redis
- Own product releases from end-to-end:
- Manage projects and collaborate closely with key stakeholders.
- Build and test features.
- Add automation, unit + integration test coverage, and monitoring to ensure
high-confidence, quality releases.
- Build and maintain data pipelines to support our data-driven culture.
- Manage the containerization and deployment of the backend matching systems.

Bonus points:
- Experience with Graph databases (we use Neo4j).
- Experience with Elasticsearch.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing, machine learning.
- Experience with AWS (SQS, Lambda and so many more)
- You have experience in (or are interested in learning) node.js – this is most of our stack.
- You may have experience in Python, C#, Java.
- You have experience managing production environments, including debugging,
deploying, and monitoring.

FOR DEVOPS ENGINEER:

This is for a company based in the United States and has an online platform that connects companies with participants for research studies, surveys, and interviews. We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience implementing DevOps processes and best practices. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems and applications.

What you will do
- Own, improve, and maintain the foundations for our engineering application teams;
- Collaborate with Head of Engineering and Engineering Tech Leads on DevOps & Security roadmap;
- Communicate with stakeholders on risks, blockers, and changes to plans;
- Continuously deliver incremental improvements across a broad range of DevOps and security-focused areas;
- Implement best-in-class automation, monitoring, reporting, and alerting.
