Intermediate React Developer

We're an automotive photography company in Dallas, TX with a web application in development. We pride ourselves on being a flexible, easygoing work environment, that treats everyone like am adult.

The project is a dealership and photography management platform for high end car dealers - The technologies involved in the project include:

Postgres
Node.js
Express
React
Typescript
Next.JS
Turborepo
Tailwind CSS

We're looking for a junior to intermediate level developer to add to the team on a long-term basis. Requirements include:

- 1-3 years of real-world experience working on production software
- Experience with most, or all technologies used in the application (listed above)
- Availability of 30-50 hours a week

Optional, but nice to have experience includes:

- Working with computer vision and image based ML models, using things like OpenCV and YOLOV8
- Image manipulation/photo editing software projects
- Experience with software in the car dealer space, including Automotive industry API integrations

We have a senior engineer who can advise you, and help get you familiar with the codebase. Exactly when you work is generally very flexible, but we're looking for devs who can dedicate 30+ hours a week to the project. We have a senior engineer who can help get you onboarded and familiar with the codebase, and can serve as an advisor and mentor, but it isn't a pair programming environment so you should be comfortable structuring your own work life and making progress independently.
