Front End/Web Developer

Front End Developers are responsible for developing quality e-Learning solutions, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand Upgrade to see actual infoont End Developers work in agile teams alongside Back End Developers, Graphic Designers and User Experience Designers to ensure all elements of product creation are consistent.
Responsibilities:
• Develop front end web applications
• Determine the structure and design of web pages
• Ensure user experience determines design choices
• Develop features to enhance the user experience and balance functional and aesthetic design
• Work closely with Instructional and Graphic Designers to complete client products
• Ensure web design is optimized for smartphones
• Build reusable code for future use
• Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
• Utilize a variety of markup languages to write web pages
• Maintain brand consistency throughout design
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information

Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1-3 years’ development experience preferred
• Understanding of key design principles
• Proficiency with Wordpress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery as well as CMS solutions
• Understanding of server-side CSS
• Experience with GIT, JIRA
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design
• Understanding of SEO principles
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Experience in an Agile team would be an asset
