Level 2 IT Support Technician

Are you a Level 2 IT Support Technician who is sick & tired of going "into the office" and would love the flexibility of working 100% remotely, with a company that will support you and make you feel like part of a team? If so, then please read this entire posting first before applying (there are details you won't want to miss).

NOTE: This position is fully remote but we serve customers primarily in the Central time zone. Applicants from other time zones are welcome to apply as long as they can work from 8AM to 5PM Central.

We are looking to hire an experienced Level 2 IT Support Technician who enjoys working with customers and who has at LEAST 2 years of recent MSP Upgrade to see actual infoTE: Please do not apply if you do not have at least 2 years of recent MSP experience!

Hire will act as a point of contact to customers for information technology related problems. Assist our customers with support, iUpgrade to see actual info management, and client communications for IT systems faults and service requests.

Duties:
• Complex problem solving and assistance on diverse software applications and hardware systems for clients.
• Providing individual and/or group training to clients on new or updated technologies.
• Performing diverse technical assistance, documents findings and performs maintenance in support of a variety of user support needs.
• Maintaining, updating, and auditing client documentation repository; documenting projects, writing, and maintaining user instructions.
• Following our ticketing system and the methods we use to open support tickets, work the issue, update the ticket, and closing the ticket in a timely manner
• Logging your time per ticket per our standards
• Growing your skill set by participating in our company sponsored education and external certification programs
Performing your technical tasks, including:
• Leading research and development initiatives and aiding in the implementation of new technologies.
• Serving as a primary project member on technology projects with large scope and impact; may lead and integrate the work of other staff.
• Performing advanced technological systems support, maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systems; troubleshoots and resolves complex system hardware, software, and network failures and conflicts.
Performing your documentation tasks, including:
• Adding documentation for new processes or processes that are not yet in our documentation system.
• Organizing and maintaining the existing documentation to ensure it is easy to locate and understand.

Requirements:
• Good knowledge of desktop and laptop support
• Possess excellent general business knowledge to complete assigned tasks
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Superior analytical, organizational and troubleshooting/ problem solving skills
• Ability to confidently and competently complete tasks with deadlines
• Ability to work and be available during 8 – 5PM shift (Central Standard Time)
• Availability to work after hours and weekends (infrequent & compensated)
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune
• MacOS experience a plus
• Networking skills (VLANs, DHCP, DNS)
• Deep knowledge of domains, user profiles and how they work
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience working for an MSP
• Self-motivated with a positive mindset and high level of enthusiasm
• Ability to switch between tasks with minimal disruptions to support needs of the business
• Ability to relay technical information clearly and simply to non-technical people

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php 40,000-55,000/month depending on experience
