Professional Video Editor / After Effects (Digital Marketing Video Content)

We're looking for a highly skilled, professional video editor (who is proficient with after effects) for our digital marketing YouTube channel.

The job will start off at $6 an hour for two weeks- and if you're a good fit, we'll hire you long-term at $8 an hour.

Experience managing projects will be helpful to you in this role. We are looking for individuals who are interested in learning about what makes video retentiion higher and help guide our team in making edits and adding effects to maintain retention and interest throughout a video.

Job requirements:
1. Must be available full-time
2. Must be available to work by 6am PHST
3. Must be proficient with Adobe After Effects (like these: youtu.be/J9bAd28DzTU. Also, we will be using templates via Upgrade to see actual info)
4. Must be familiar with video retention techniques (create engaging and attention grabbing videos)
5. Must be familiar with making 2D animations on Parallax
6. Must be open to feedback and collaboration
7. Must having strong written and verbal English skills
8. Be able to create content using similar techniques and strategies as shown in this video: youtu.be/2v-Dv5YYaGQ

Digital marketing experience is not necessary, but it will definitely help you in making these videos. We'll be able to help train you on the content that we cover on our channel.

We're looking for an editor who has a strong sense of creative vision (can expand on the ideas they're presented in thought provoking, engaging, and creative ways). They must also have a sense for what constitutes quality YouTube content.

You will be given access to a number of professional stock footage libraries. Also, since these videos will not be monetized, you'll be able to use clips from popular media (movies, television, ect) as is typical with informative/educational YouTube content.

You will be provided a 5-10 minute pre-recorded VoiceOver with a script and will be asked to create a video to convey the message of the audio.

Notice the quick editing style, attention grabbing sounds, and the usage of both stock footage, still images, and footage from popular media. Obviously the channel is unrelated to the content we're making and is more dramatic than what our channel is creating. But it's attention grabbing and the production quality is very high.

This will be used as a paid trial assignment if we dUpgrade to see actual info to move forward after an interview.
