QA Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

Evaluate and test software (website & mobile applications) programs to verify programs function according to user requirements.
Create and validate that software performs to established guidelines.
Know basic web standards for quality control: responsiveness, usability of system, security,
Test Cases: Write, review, revise and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation. Coordinate with programmers for syncing test cases.
Prepare and develop test strategies and test plans. Work with developers to create a set sequence of procedures.
Participate in review of standards, procedures, tools and process.
Monitor, manage and communicate with developers on defects.
Assist project leaders in solving common or reoccuring quality assurance issues.
Assist in disaster recovery testing.
Document issues and solutions for future reference, training of QA staff.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related course.
Have at least 3-5 year working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
3-5 years of experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and other
3-5 years of experience with coding using JAVA, HTML5, DB2, XML
2 years of experience with web security technology
3-5 years of experience with software QA tools and processes
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
Ability to work well under pressure, able to multitask, adaptive.
Attention to detail and organized.
