Web Tester

Location: Remote
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 39.5 hours per week, mainly UK hours
Salary: Dependant on experience

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Tester to join our team at BuyItDirect. As a Web Tester, you will be responsible for verifying the functionality and usability of our website and online systems. You will work closely with our development and design teams to identify and report issues and ensure that our website is reliable, user-friendly, and fully functional.

Key Responsibilities:
• Testing website functionality and usability across different browsers and devices
• Identifying and reporting defects and issues on the website and online systems
• Working with the development and design teams to resolve identified issues
• Writing and maintaining test cases and test plans
• Participating in regular meetings with the development and design teams to discuss testing progress and priorities

Requirements:
• 1+ years of experience in web testing
• Experience with e-commerce websites
• Knowledge of mobile testing best practices and tools such as browser stack
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report defects
• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• An ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Experience with automated testing
• Preferable to have experience with managing tasks in Jira but not essential
