Welcome to our California-based Managed Services Provider! We're a dynamic and fast-paced company that's looking for a talented IT DevOps Engineer/Architect to join our team. As an IT DevOps Engineer/Architect, you'll be responsible for a combination of hands-on engineering and technical leadership. We're looking for someone who can lead architecture for a small team and also be hands-on when needed.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, independent, and a critical thinker. You'll need to be able to understand the root cause of a client's needs and know how to pick and implement the right solutions. We're a multi-cloud company, so experience with AWS, ECS Kubernetes, and Docker is essential, with AWS being the most preferred.

As an IT DevOps Engineer/Architect, your core responsibilities will include technical leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning. You'll need to be adept at identifying business needs, problems, and risks, and providing overall technical leadership and direction on project engagements for up to six individuals. You'll also need to have experience implementing multiple enterprise solutions in the cloud using a vast range of cloud technologies and appropriate cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud).

Other key responsibilities of the role include understanding customer requirements and project KPIs, managing stakeholders and external interfaces, setting up tools and required infrastructure, defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations, troubleshooting and fixing code bugs, identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures, and coordinating and communicating within the team and with customers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have experience working on Linux-based infrastructure, an excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java, and configuration and managing databases such as MySQL and Mongo. You'll also need to have experience with various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services and be aware of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.

If you're the right candidate for this role, you'll have the following qualifications:
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification
• Prior experience leading a DevOps team in architecting
• Kubernetes certification
• Docker experience
• Terraform experience
• CISE pipelines experience
• Jenkins pipelines experience
• Github pipelines experience

You should also be experienced in cloud architecture, DevOps engineering, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, and full-stack development using AWS. Knowledge of Spinnaker, Ansible, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Helm Charts, Terraform, CloudFormation, Vault, RedHat OpenShift, Tectonic, Swarm, Prometheus, Elastic search, Kibana, Chef, NodeJS, ReactJS, OpenStack, MongoDB, Microservices (DropWizard, Springboot), RabbitMQ, Zookeeper, Redis, Storm, TeamCity, CI/CD and related technologies, OAuth, SAML, LDAP-AD integration, and Blackbox – GPG is a plus.

We're looking for someone who can work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm PST or EST.

If you're a talented IT DevOps Engineer/Architect who is ready to take on a new challenge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Apply today and take the first step towards building an exciting and rewarding career with us!
