A Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the client. This includes tasks such as recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports.
This is a full time independent contractor position taking on a "graveyard" shift based on US time zones.
Record financial transactions in the client's accounting system, including invoices, receipts, payments, and any other financial adjustments
Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure that all transactions are accounted for
Prepare financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets, to provide insights into the financial performance of the client
Assist with budgeting and forecasting by maintaining financial records and creating reports
Support the client's financial management by providing information and analysis as needed
Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including supporting documents such as invoices and receipts
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in order to continuously improve skills and practices
Perform other related duties as assigned
Prepare contractor timecards to generate invoices and payslips
Point of contact for banking relationships on basic banking needs
2+ years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a related role
Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (preferred)
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
