Logistics Route Planner

We are a Medical logistics company seeking a qualified route planner to assist with assuring all stops are assigned to the correct driver and route and all items in transit are accounted for.

We are hiring for the following shift time:
Monday-Friday, 5:00am-9:00am Eastern Standard Time

Due to the nature of items we transport, this position requires a candidate who has strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, organized, and the ability to communicate effectively with team and management.

If you have experience in this field and are able to assist with a more updated/modern solution to ensure effective routing this is also a plus.

The ideal candidate will have experience using route planning software, mapping tools, and understanding the utilization of driver app to ensure all stops are adhered to in a timely manner and is a stickler for ACCURACY!!!

The ideal candidate will propose daily solutions that lead to decreased mileage, decreased fuel usage, less overtime, and better use of vehicles and time for our courier team. The ideal candidate should also have leadership skills and are comfortable communicating with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers and management for courier related concerns.

Minimum of 2 years of dispatching and/or logistics experience specifically in the same-day/on-demand/dynamic routing delivery space preferably covering routes locally or statewide.

Opportunity to transition into a full-time role after 60 days of employment with company if desired.

We are seeking someone who has experience already in this capacity.
