JOB OVERVIEW

Hello there,

I own a history themed Youtube channel. I already have a small team of artists that I work with, but I am looking to grow the team.

At the Upgrade to see actual infont, I am looking for an animator. This individual would be responsible for most of the work of a given video. At the Upgrade to see actual infont, this is sort of what the workflow looks like:

1) I do the research
2) I write the script
3) I hand the script off the animator, and they begin drafting sketches, and upload them to our Dropbox
4) I review the sketches, and approve them or reject them.
5) The animator will then ink the sketches
6) My team will color the inks - You (the animator) will not have to do this.
7) The animator will animate the color .psd files.
8) I stitch everything together in Premiere Pro and publish.

As you can see, that's a lot of work for one person. Which is why you would have to work full-time on this project. I'm working on getting a storyboard artist to do the storyboard and the sketches, and eventually someone to do the inks.

At the Upgrade to see actual infont I don't have that, so the sketches and inks will fall on the animator. If that's something you're not comfortable with, than this is not the job for you. Eventually though, the goal is for you to only do the animations.

The animations are rather simple, if you follow this link, you will see a good reference for what I am shooting for:

Upgrade to see actual info

As you can see from that video, I'm shooting for high quality but I think it's within reach.

If you apply, I would need your portfolio, specifically of animations. I would also need your availability. If you have a full-time job, then don't apply Upgrade to see actual info is obvious to me if you can only work 2 hours a day on this as opposed to 7-8, and I will simply let you go, since the video will take way too long working part-time.

For reference, working full-time I expect the video to be complete in less than a month. Ideally less than 25 days so I have time edit some things.

For the first video, I can pay $900. If the video turns out well then I'll pay $1000 after that.

If this sounds like something that would interest you then I'm looking forward to reviewing your portfolio.

Thanks,
Michael
