Excellent Copywriter

LOOKING FOR:

An excellent copywriter (that stands out from the rest) to write website copy and regular blogs for Affordable Web Solutions and our clients.

* 20-30 hours/week

You will be responsible for planning and developing inspiring and informative copy that propels Affordable Web Solutions and our clients to market leader status. We seek someone with experience across a short and long-form copy, including blogs, paid media ads, website copy, and product copy. The full shebang!

Here’s what you’d be doing day-to-day:
• Crafting compelling, persuasive copy that evokes emotion, inspires action, and adheres to brand guidelines.
• Striking the delicate balance between writing for brand and SEO.
• Ensuring your copy is grammatically and factually correct.
• Using your fluent grasp of English to edit written work expertly.
• Creating clever headlines that make people do a double take.
• Collaborating with our SMM to create campaigns that make people say, "Why didn't I think of that?"
• Managing client relationships directly via Teamwork Project Software.
• Receiving wholehearted support from our team of creatives and managing Director.
• Able to research various industries, including (but not limited to) digital marketing, web design & development, finance, medical, electricians and business coaching.

Our ideal candidate will have:
• 3+ years experience across copywriting, brand, and content strategy.
• A portfolio of published work that’ll make us laugh, cry, or both.
• The ability to adapt your tone to different audiences and brands.
• Exceptional time management, initiative, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
• An understanding of what people need to connect with a message.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to take on constructive feedback and not take re-writes personally.
