JOB OVERVIEW

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist

We are looking for an SEO Specialist to enable our users to be best able to find our site and our value-add offerings.

The SEO Specialist is responsible for managing all SEO activities including but not limited to: content strategy?
link building and keyword strategy. This skilled management is what we need in order to increase rankings on all
major search networks.

Responsibilities for SEO Specialist:

• Build an SEO strategy across web entities
• Create an implementation roadmap for implementing best practices to drive more engagement
• Monitor search algorithms set by search engines to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape
• Continually check search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor the performance of websites and make recommendations for improvement
• Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
• Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
• Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success
• Develop and integrate content marketing strategies
• Use social media to distribute content and encourage external sites to link back to the site of the organization
• Drive targeted and loyal traffic to the website through effective community-building
• Employing user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization methods to turn visitors into active users

Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in a quantitative? test-driven field
• Two to three years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
• Proven SEO experience
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
• Experience using? reading? and understanding bid management tools such as Click Equations? Marin? Kenshoo? and Search Ignite
• Working knowledge of HTML? CSS? and JavaScript development and constraints
• Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.)
• Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
• Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus
