Software Engineer - Revolutionary Nutrition Company UK

Biospan is a luxurious, private chef service that provides in-home chef service with complete nutrition support, using only the freshest, most organic ingredients grown using regenerative agricultural practices. As a developer, you will be responsible for automating our processes and improving our operational efficiency. You will set up and integrate different software platforms, connect our payment systems with operational software, and build databases to track customer usage and automate billing. This role is initially on a temporary basis. Still, if you continue to be useful and meet our expectations, we see no reason for this role not to continue indefinitely.

Key Responsibilities:
-- Setting up and integrating software platforms such as Chargebee, Expensify, Zoho tools, Clickup, Slack, Google Drive, etc.
-- Connecting our payment systems with operational software and building databases to track customer usage.
-- Creating automated notifications, pdf reports, and other features for customers based on their billing and usage data.
-- Unifying our tools to work together by building automation in-line with our operational plans.

-- Strong experience with web development and programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PHP, or C#.
-- Experience with integrating different software platforms and APIs, such as Chargebee and Expensify, and with payment processing systems.
-- Experience with building and maintaining databases, and with using SQL to query and manipulate data.
-- Strong understanding of web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
-- Experience with automation tools such as Zapier
-- Strong experience with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
-- Experience with developing mobile applications would be an added advantage.
-- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think creatively and come up with solutions to complex problems.
-- Strong communication skills, as you will need to work closely with our team and communicate effectively with customers.
