Lead Generation Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a full-time lead generation assistant to join our team! In this role, you will primarily be responsible for helping us identifying and qualifying potential wholesale customers for our company's bedding products.

This will mainly involve finding retail stores and interior designers that might want to carry our products and then doing research to identify the best contact at the company and their contact info (preferably email).

You will also handle initial outbound outreach to the prospect.

Additionally, you will assist with other lead—based research, such as recruiting (e.g., finding us candidates that fit a certain profile).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and qualify prospective customers, including department stores, furniture stores, interior designers, vacation home owners, etc.
- Assist with other research projects (e.g., recruiting) on an as-requested basis
- Work independently to identify the best contact information for these various types of prospects (i.e., for bigger businesses, the right person at the business to connect with, not just a generic contact emails
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads and customer interactions in our Airtable CRM system
- Help us research competitors and what stores they’re selling Upgrade to see actual infopile research into a simple, easy-to-understand format for our team
- Handle initial outreach to prospects
- Work with other members of our marketing team (e.g., email marketing specialist) to coordinate campaigns
- Continuously research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in wholesale bedding sales and lead generation
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure that leads are effectively nurtured and converted into long-term wholesale customers


REQUIREMENTS
- Must have at least two years of lead generation experience for another company, preferably a consumer wholesale company
- Must have excellent independent research skills, including:
- How to identify the right contact at the company to reach out to (typically someone who has purchasing ability)
- How to find their contact information, whether through free tools or paid tools
- Must have excellent English skills
- Ability to work with our US team via email, Slack and Skype/Zoom
- Highly preferred, but not required: experience with Airtable, Notion, Slack and Google Sheets
- Stable and highly dependable. Ideally someone seeking a long-term relationship
- Detail- and deadline-driven
- Works well independently, but also comfortable taking direction from others
