Accounting Specialist

Make It Real looking for an Accounting Specialist to handle the monitoring, reconciliation and review of accounts receivables and assist in the month-end closing and other management and statutory reporting requirements

This is a full-time remote position with working hours during the US ET workday (9 am - 5 pm ET). Our team has moved to a virtual office model so all work can be done remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and reconcile account receivables. Ensure that all collections and allowable deductions are applied and reviewed
on a timely manner.
• Assist in month-end closing (these include, but are not limited to, journal entry preparation and posting, various account
reconciliation and analysis)
• Assist in management report and financial statement preparation.
• Assist in quarterly reporting including royalties and sales tax etc.

Requirements:
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Data entry skills
• Customer service orientation
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• High confidentiality
• knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop preferred
