Job description:

Assess customer needs, explore all options, and introduce diverse types of loans

Meet the required turnaround time in processing the loan application to compete with industry standard

Process and evaluate applications prescribed on relevant policies and provide recommendations within credit parameters and prescribed turnaround time

Generate loans within or above the prescribed yield

Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines

Respond to applicants’ questions or objections and resolve any loan-related issues

Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty, and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process

Prepare detailed loan proposals

Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services

Assist in day-to-day operations


Skills:

Proven working experience as a Customer Service Specialist. Knowledge of loan processing and documentation is a plus

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

Customer service-oriented with exceptional sales skills

Ability to interact effectively and in a supportive manner with people

Ability to work under pressure

Attention to detail and consistency

Self-motivated and deadline-oriented

Ability to organize and prioritize effectively

Strong proficiency in computer programs, especially Excel and Word

Possess a can-do attitude with an eagerness to contribute ideas and execute team initiatives

Knowledge of MS Office applications, Dropbox, Trello


Work Hours:

Monday through Friday
8 am to 5 pm PST
