We're looking for the right person to join our team. The right person will have exceptional drafting skills and will have a will to succeed, to improve every day, to bring something special to the role. Is this you?
We are a small building design company in Brisbane Australia, who specializes in the design of small additions to existing homes, and the design of new homes. Our drafting team currently uses Revit to design most jobs though Autocad is used when appropriate. We use a combination of software and manufacturer specifications to design structure. We use a combination of software and government standards to design energy ratings. We have plans for growth that need the right people to help us be the best we can be.
We have an in depth training program designed to compliment your existing skillset. You must be absolutely competent in design and drafting, but we're willing to show you how we do it, and give you time to learn the local laws and requirements.
We are looking for someone with exceptional Drafting experience, and the equipment to complete jobs- and the right space to work from. You MUST also have your own printer to check jobs accurately. You must have an understanding of drawings and construction. Someone who can learn to use programs like word, excel, and CRM or workflow programs. You must have a reliable computer with good internet access, and a suitable place to work that is free of distraction. You will be able to have conversations on Skype or google hangouts and able to access Australian websites.

Australian residential design would be a great advantage
