JOB OVERVIEW

Hi!

We are an innovative company from Adelaide, South Australia with a strong focus on communication and technology. We operate multiple companies including SecureCash (Cash in Transit), eDockets (Software), The Cemetery on The Hill (Cemetery) and The Church on The Hill (Cafe, Wine Bar and Event Centre), all with existing websites or websites still needing to be finished/created.

We are looking for a hardworking Website Developer with a good understanding of technical SEO to join our development team in a full time position, working from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday Adelaide time, to create and maintain our online presence.

This is a long-term position so naturally we hope to find someone who is committed to a long term employment, we will also be interested in providing on the job training to further skills and to take on new and exciting responsibilities!

Some of your responsibilities as a Web Developer are:

Developing websites from scratch, and incorporating them into a custom-built CMS.
Converting PSD/AI mockups into fully functional, mobile responsive HTML5 pages.
Writing JavaScript modules and libraries to connect web forms to our server backend.
As a result of having multiple developers over previous years there are varieties in technologies which have been used. One major responsibility will be to uniform all projects into the same stack.

Some of your responsibilities as an off-page SEO are:

Taking on all aspects of page speed optimisation and focusing on Google’s Core Web Vitals, including but not limited to; optimising images in next-gen formats, improving old web pages and cleaning up outdated markup
Incorporating structured data or schema markup
Optimising mobile responsiveness
Keeping up with Google trends and providing recommendations for optimisation

Requirements:

* Deep familiarity with modern web frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ECMA6 and best practices surrounding responsive web development. Experience with SASS would be a big plus.
* Strong understanding of SEO and Google requirements especially from a technical aspect.
* Good spoken and written English.
*Attention to detail and the willingness to research to overcome any obstacles faced.
* Daily use of time monitoring software.

Ideally, if you have experience with server side work, server administration, NodeJS or would like to learn more about backend development - that would all be a great plus - but not a requirement! If you are a Wordpress developer, this is not the role for you.

We recognise selected national Philippine public holidays as well as Australian National public holidays. Your payments are processed fortnightly. You will be required to log all working hours through our time monitoring software.

We provide a 13th month payment, paid in two instalments at the half and end of year.

To apply please attach your resume, a short description on why we should choose you for this job and examples of your previous work experience e.g. links to web projects and a summary of the technologies Upgrade to see actual info your application please attach your resume (CV) and include your salary expectations.

Kind regards,
Dylan Cross
