JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a social media manager rockstar to create connections in our industry, promote/monitor/engage our facebook group, syndicate content to a variety of social media platforms, and generally promote our online presence. Our top priority is building and engaging our facebook group to create a solid lead funnel, and our second priority is becoming a thought leader by answering questions in other industry relevant facebook groups.

This social media manager will also schedule out social media posts for all of our clients monthly using Deposit Photos to download images, Canva to edit them, and Social Pilot to schedule them.

This person MUST be a self-learner who is willing to come up with innovative ideas for company growth. This role is NOT a fit for someone passive, lazy, or dishonest. Our company is looking for a long-term fit here with great advancement opportunities.

This person will monitor relevant facebook groups and proactively answer questions/participate in relevant discussions using facebook group monitoring software. Additionally, the job requires research and reach out to potential podcast guests for our company's podcast (we run a very popular podcast), as well as assisting our CEO with more brand exposure by helping him to become a guest on other relevant podcasts, get featured in industry relevant magazines, etc. The candidate must be flexible and willing to adapt with the role as it progresses.

Proficiency in effective use of hashtags and all major social media platforms is required.

Must have a minimum 2-years experience working as a social media manager or PR role with a heavy emphasis on social media (or equivalent role).

This is a full time position with significant opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities include:
- Create, develop, and maintain social media strategies & content across different channels
- Keep track of user interaction, make suggestions for content improvement, and understand hashtags
- Build a solid network by communicating through emails and using social media with painting industry professionals.
- Promote interaction by posting regularly, leaving comments, and concentrating on gaining new followers
- Joining/Monitoring relevant groups/forums to get insights from clients

- Managing comments and direct messages on Social Media channels
- Syndicating/Posting Videos across different channels
- Identify and apply social media KPIs by regularly evaluating client metrics for optimization.
- Assess each social media campaign's effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
