Shopify Web Developer

I am in search of a Shopify web developer to join our growing agency, we are a small team of 5 people.

You will be editing theme code and creating custom functionality to existing themes. You will be working on various projects for our many different clients every week.

You will need to have experience working with PSD to HTML, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, Flexbox, jQuery, Javascript, Liquid, and Shopify Metafields.

You will need to have very good knowledge of Javascript.

Knowledge of of various popular Shopify apps (Bold apps, ReCharge, Bundle Builder, etc), third-party APIs (Klaviyo, etc), the Shopify API, and Shopify Theme Kit is a plus. If you know how to create custom private Shopify Apps, that is a huge plus.

Knowledge of Terminal and Git is necessary since that is what we will be using for code version control.

We will be using Trello and Slack for project management and communication.

The ideal applicant will have strong debugging and problem solving skills, as well as be able to easily communicate in written English. They will not be afraid to give feedback and ask questions about the projects they will be working on. They will also need to thoroughly test the code and changes they make, to make sure their changes work across desktop and mobile on all major browsers.

Please provide a link to your portfolio and multiple examples of Shopify stores and themes you have created or worked on. I will be going over all examples.

I am looking for a developer to work 30 hours per week. You will need to be available to work during United States EST timezone, from 8 AM to 2 PM EST from Monday to Friday. You will be compensated $600 USD per month, paid weekly ($150 USD). This is a remote position, you will be able to work from home.

You will go through some team on-boarding and training to teach you about our work processes if you are hired.

We will have a short technical interview. I will ask you one question on how you would implement a specific custom functionality on Shopify. I will also ask you to implement a feature on a test store.
