ECOMMERCE WEB DEVELOPER

The E-Commerce Web Developer should have a solid working knowledge of how the Shopify and/or WooCommerce platforms works and how to use them to build and update websites based on the latest industry best practices.


Key Functional Areas of Responsibility

Create / update site using Shopify, WooCommerce and/or other popular page building tools.
Perform content updates of text, images, videos, blog posts, articles, and files as needed by clients.
Add or edit categories, collections, and/or products
Interact with clients to gather requirements and recommend best practice solutions
Install, configure, and/or update integrated apps and plugins based on client needs including shipping, taxes, reviews, affiliates, rewards, etc
Implement tracking codes for various digital advertising and marketing efforts including but not limited to Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, configure e-commerce goal tracking, and other advertising pixels


Professional Skills & Qualifications

Proven working experience in web development using Shopify and/or WooCommerce
Adequate knowledge of graphic design and editing in Adobe Photoshop
Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
Experience working for a web development firm or digital agency is greatly preferred
Must be able to work an Eastern United States time zone schedule to effectively collaborate with the team local to the corporate headquarters.

Schedule
