Responsible for detailing rebar from contractor drawings, plans, or blueprints. Assist with training junior-level Upgrade to see actual infovestigate ways to integrate new technologies into rebar fabrication operations.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

Determines design requirements as they pertain to concrete and masonry reinforcement.
Generates accurate placement drawings for submittal and for field reinforcing placement purposes.
Facilitates the project between the Contractor, Fabricator, and Ironworkers to ensure the project meets schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
Maintains a clear and accurate comparison of exact weights and quantities Upgrade to see actual infotimated amounts. Reports any discrepancies to the department Upgrade to see actual infomunicates with the customer and the fabrication manager to ensure scheduling expectations are reasonable and can be Upgrade to see actual infomunicates with the customer and/or designer to clarify missing or unclear information pertaining to the reinforcing requirements of a project.
Maintains and updates the project status in the project management system (ASA, RMS, or other).
Trains entry-level Detailers to detail structural rebar manually or by using CAD.

Nature and Scope:

Demonstrates data analysis skills by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.
May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior-level support or professional personnel.
