Full-Stack Developer, Architect

About us
We are a SaaS company based in the USA with a staff of 10 Filipino Developers and we are looking to add a developer! We have a strong company culture in both the US and Philippines, this position would work very much with both teams.

Requirements
- Full Stack Developer Experience
- Architect Experience
- AWS Experience
- CakePHP experience is a plus (our legacy code that is being replaced is in this language)
- Proficient with GIT (branch management, PR creation and reviewing)
- Strong javascript/typescript skills including working with async/await
- Experience writing easily testable code and using tests
- Experience creating REST or GraphQL API
- MySQL Experience

Our Expectations:
This position will mainly be focused on bug fixes and issues found during US work hours. You will help to triage and fix whatever you possibly can with overflow going to our Filipino team after your work hours are completed. When there aren't bugs to be fixed, you will work on the same team sprints that the rest of the team is working on.

We will process payroll for the 1st and 15th of each month. We will make our best effort to provide as much guidance as possible, answer questions as quickly as possible, and help make your daily work experience as pleasant as possible. We will listen to your ideas, and give you lots of opportunity for collaboration in our agile process.

Our hiring process:
We will review all the applications that are submitted and will reach out as quickly as we can to schedule a short initial zoom interview. The final part of our process is to assign a paid 8-16 hour project that will give us a little experience with communication and working together. This project is paid as long as our process is followed (communication requirements and pushing your code), regardless if the project is finished or if a job offer is made. After the test project there is a final video call with the CEO of the company, project manager, and dev manager to finalize the decision about joining the team.
