Senior Fullstack Developer

The Company
Iottag is continuing to grow, and so is the Development team. We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to hit the ground running on cloud development for a unique IoT device. You will bring experience with the MEAN / MERN tech stack. Working with experts in their field, you will work on cutting edge technologies with a dynamic and multi-skilled team.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll build efficient, secure, testable, and reusable Node.js modules
You’ll work on integration with external REST web services
You’ll be involved in solving complex performance problems and architectural challenges
You’ll work on the integration of data storage solutions, such as databases
You’ll collaborate and provide regular status updates on progress and challenges faced during squad meetings
What you will bring to the role:

Expert-level grasp of Node.js, with proficiency in PHP, Python and Go being highly regarded
High level of proficiency with both Relational and mySQL databases
Experience using online source code repositories (BitBucket, etc)
Experience with RESTful APIs and client/server integration
Data Analytics - Experience with Power BI (DAX) highly regarded
You’ll bring experience with DevOps, build pipelines, and AWS
Good understanding of Software Engineering best practises
Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
Experience with Agile and Lean development methodologies
Additional desirable skills and experience:

Ability to be self-directed and also work as part of cross-functional team
Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced start-up environment
Complex problem solving and methodical mind
Exceptional English (verbal & written)
