SEO CONTENT WRITER

We are a digital marketing agency looking for a full-time seasoned content writer for different niches, with a background in journalism and editorial experience.

We are currently hiring Content Writers who can deliver ~1500 words of content a day. If you're an experienced writer who is reliable, flexible, and loves to research niche fields or industries, then we invite you to join our remote team and enrich our clients' websites with engaging, informative, and entertaining articles.

Responsibilities include conducting research on industry-related topics, writing well-organized, informative content, and proofreading articles before submission. If you’re experienced with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you!

**Responsibilities**

- Follow content briefs/outlines
- Write 20+ "ready to publish" articles per month.
- Research industry-related topics as needed
- Produce well-written articles and blog content
- Writes, edits, and proofreads articles and web content with attention to correcting errors in typing, spelling, grammar, writing style, and all aspects of technical writing.
- Follow SEO guidelines for optimal SERP ranking
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, tone, images, etc.)
- Religiously fact-check to ensure that your writing does not contain any factual inaccuracies.
- Works with staff to draft and format articles for publication.

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor’s degree in English or Journalism
- Excellent English, spelling, grammar, and word use skills are required.
- Professional proofreading or comparable pre-or post-graduate experience is required.
- Must be detail-oriented, with excellent concentration and attention to detail
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, Editor, or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles (in English)
- Experience doing research using multiple sources

**Selection Process**

- Shortlisted candidates will be sent a test article topic. If the test article quality meets the required level, the candidate will be recruited into the team for a trial period of 2 weeks as a freelance writer.
- If the performance is satisfactory in the first two weeks, then a job offer will be made.
- Do not apply if you are not technically qualified as we are not looking for a generalist content writer.
