Summary:

The sales representative is a self-motivated hunter who is ready to help career changers transition into tech careers. This position calls for phone sales experience and someone who is great at meeting strangers, is a great communicator and likes to drive conversations. A sales representative will spend their day calling career changers who’ve requested more information to discuss training programs that will help them secure a new career in technology. This position is a great way to level up your career in sales, working from home with a tight knit team who cares about helping people win and winning ourselves. The Reskill Network is a veteran-owned, mission-driven organization whose goal is to help military veterans and adult learners connect with training programs that will help them advance their career.

We are seeking someone who is:

- Ready to talk to strangers and likes to roll up their sleeves and jump in.
- Excited to make 100 sales calls per day, while also engaging via text and email
- Comfortable with technology and working from home.
- Able to ask questions and seek out coaching if struggling
- A note taker. When training or being coached, you take detailed notes.
- Ready to study your craft and take it seriously.
- Focused on the task at hand and remains consistent day in and day out.
- A representation of our core values - integrity, representing what winning looks like at all times, and disciplined in your efforts.

What we’re looking for you to bring:

- A deep understanding of sales. You have sold products that couldn’t be sold without a sales team.
-Work from home capability. You have the ability and equipment to work from home - high speed internet, a PC and are very comfortable with computers
- A history of making calls. We call hundreds of people every day. On an average day you may call 60-70 people. We are seeking people who are eager to talk to others.
- Phone skills to grab attention & build relationships. People are busy. We must have the presence to grab someone and engage them, no matter what they have going on.
- Resilience. This role requires tough conversations and hard questions. We must be willing to do the work required, even on tough days.
- Independence. We don’t micromanage. We set goals and allow you to go win. But this means you must be willing to ask questions, reach for help when needed and

- Growth - our team is all about growing together. We have weekly coaching, frequent training and there’s always room to get better. You must be coachable, open to feedback for improvement, and willing to try new things.
- Independence - we trust our team and believe they can do well. We need you to be a little techy and able to figure things out when something isn’t working and make use of the tools at your disposal.
- Ownership - we can go fast by ourselves, but further Upgrade to see actual info takes the whole team for us to reach our goal. You must be able to own your role and be accountable for the responsibilities it carries.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Lead prospecting

- Actively prospecting by dialing out to interested people who have filled out a form on our website
- Identifying prospect needs and the appropriate products and services to be offered
- Set up follow-up meetings and calls with prospective candidates
- Record all activity thoroughly and accurately

Sales

- Communicate with potential customers via phone and share valuable information
- Must be able to learn and follow a script. Once you know what to say, you can focus on how to say it.
- Ability to listen more than you speak when needed.
- Ability to identify someone’s pain through asking proper questions.
- Follow-up with requests for information and questions.
- Investigate and understand the needs of prospects
- Stay up to date with the latest in programs and offerings from The Reskill Network
- Achieve sales targets
- Report weekly and monthly sales and activity
- Work with our marketing, career placement and operations teams to share key insights
- You must be able to get comfortable asking uncomfortable questions.

We pay a base salary 50K / Month (based on experience) along with benefits like Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour Fridays. You will have room for advancement, and we reward people that represent our core values with frequent pay raises.
