Senior PHP Laravel & Full-Stack Developer

We are hiring a full-stack developer that's an expert in using PHP/Laravel. We're a US-based company with a vision to improve patient education, e-learning and virtual, medical science education. We also offer our clients cutting-edge marketing solutions.

Our full-stack PHP developer will be responsible for developing and coding on client projects as well as in-house applications. Mon-Friday, 40 hours week.

You should have in-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, an understanding of MVC designs, and working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.

Your day to day is…

> Writing “clean” code per company coding standards, in a timely and scalable manner.
> Contribute to the company’s standards, conventions, and workflows (Code reviews, automated testing, CI.).
> Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
> Working with our lead developer to set up new client portals.
> You will also help develop and implement tools relating to data analysis and exports.
> Write efficient, testable, and reusable PHP code.
> Troubleshooting, testing, refactoring, and maintaining the company’s existing Laravel code.
> Working in small cross-functional teams to build, and deliver in quick iterations.
> Responding to integration requests from front-end developers.
> Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.
> Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.
> Updating Laravel code base on proprietary platforms to Laravel 8 & beyond
> Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
> Working with servers like Linode, Digital Ocean, AWS, cloud computing, and distributed systems as the company grows.
> Updating proprietary code base to latest Laravel version

Required Skills and Abilities:

> Fluent in English–written and verbal.
> Honest & Ethical with your time as a remote employee.
> Working all or part-time on our schedule US–EST as needed.
> Deep expertise using Laravel.
> Deep understanding of databases (mysql, postgresql) are a must. Any others are a plus). Be able to write DB code without an
ORM.
> Basic understanding of front-end technologies including Vue.js, Bootstrap, React.
> Troubleshooting, debugging issues, developing new features and functionality into existing proprietary code and open-source code bases.
> Making technical SEO improvements based on audits/software tools
> Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
> Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
> 3rd party API integrations, and managing a system with multiple data sources and databases.
> Familiarity with PHP limitations as a platform and its workarounds.
> Experience working with marketing/front end designers to deploy landing pages using WP.
> Great communication skills.
> Ability to work well both within a team and independently.
> Passion for software design, coding practices, testing, and a desire to share new and bold ideas.
> Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.

We’re a small team with big Upgrade to see actual infondidates must have the ability to adapt to new client projects and our in-house Upgrade to see actual infocation and Experience:
> Academic degree is a plus, but is not required if you’ve got experience and skills.
> 5+ Years of Experience using PHP and Laravel Frameworks
> Knowledge of basic coding languages including HTML5, and JavaScript.
> Knowledge of web technologies including Vue.js, REACT.js, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, AJAX.
> Knowledge of databases and operating systems.
> Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software.
> Adobe design programs
> Experience in integrating third-party APIs (Twilio, Google, Stripe, GitHub etc)
> Good knowledge of relational databases (mysql, postgresql), version control tools (Git, Github) and of developing web services.
