WordPress Website Developer

We are a marketing agency with over 50 clients and growing. We are preparing for tremendous growth in 2023. We need someone who can work on multiple projects each day.
We are looking for a long-term teaUpgrade to see actual infomber, not just an " outsourcer." We are looking for an additional teaUpgrade to see actual infomber to grow with. If you are looking for a short-term freelance position, this is not the right fit for you.

Ideally, you would work half or more of your time during MST business hours; however, we can be flexible. We do require the US At least two but preferably four hours of your schedule each day to be worked during 10:00 am- 3 pm EST Monday - Thursday so we can effectively communicate with you via video on slack/ google meet etc. On Thursdays, we will need you to attend a teaUpgrade to see actual infoeting that is at 11:30am EST. You are free to work the rest of your 40 hours when it's best for you during the week, but we do want you to keep a schedule so we know when to expect deliverables, etc. We do track hours, so please be okay with that.

We want to add an amazing WordPress website designer/developer to our team. You will be working alongside our in-house Developer and designer along with one other person.for now. We are looking for someone with outstanding skills and can help build and update custom WordPress sites, too; however, the job will be weighted more toward designing and updating live sites than developing any sites. Most sites are built with Eelemntor. However, quite a few use WordPress blocks and Gutenberg. WE have switched to Cadence recently, and acquiring a deep knowledge of Cadence and WP blocks is necessary for long-term success.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Create custom designs into functional, responsive, cross-browser compatible web experiences within WordPress
Experience with (HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP) All new Websites are being built using the cadence theme

Implement best practices for SEO and site performance metrics
Update websites built by other designers quickly when needed.
Print design, including brochures, postcards, ads, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
4+ years experience as a front-end WordPress Website designer/ graphic designer
Strong knowledge of the web, interactive design/development process
Proven organizational skills and relentless attention to detail
The ability to apply logic to properly organize menus, page layouts, photos, content etc.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Adobe creative suite / Figma

Extensive knowledge in WordPress: editing templates and themes like elementor. The ability to create a website from scratch using HTML and Upgrade to see actual infoprehensive understanding and expeirnce experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript/ jQuery, PHP, GIT, plug-in Development, and API integrations.



PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
Professional level knowledge of industry-standard design software and tools for development usage such as inspecting designs, saving assets, etc.
Multitasking & Time Management skills are a must- the ability to jump from one client project to the next, etc.
Highly communicative with the ability to coordinate between account and development teams
Able to work independently
Highly organized with attention to detail and consistency
Ability to be a self-starter & Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
