Technical Support Specialist / Software Developer
API guru, VBA, Automation, Power Bi (Data Analytics), JavaScript and Ecommerce (Shopify)

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist/Developer with a programming background and great experience dealing with different platforms. Experience with e-Commerce technologies and web services is a must.
You will be required to take on specific projects, be able to work on your own and troubleshoot any existing issues including proposing solutions and suggesting workarounds and writing small applications if necessary.

Familiarity with ERP, 3PL logistics and inventory management concepts and platforms is preferred.

We are a reputable Canadian company with e-Commerce focus with different branches across Canada.

Looking for part time applicants with a chance to upgrade to full time.

Job Description:

* Provide support in ERP administration and continuous improvement of systems, including project management, troubleshooting, continuous improvement and analyst support.
* Work between different platforms including Shopify, ERP software, accounting, and inventory management software, understanding their core functionality.
* Test, debug and troubleshoot existing applications & integrations
* Perform data clean up, maintenance and analysis. Highlight possible solutions and alert the team of possible errors and issues.
* Perform daily and weekly checks.
* Perform conversion, cleansing, importing, and exporting of data within and between internal and external software systems. Import and export large amounts of data in formats like CSV, JSON, XML, Upgrade to see actual infoing Power Query. (optional)
* Collaborate with the team to implement new integration and automation solutions and follow development best practices. * Install and implement application enhancements.
* Learn new techniques and practices for cloud-native development and share your findings with the team.
* Generate ad-hoc scripts to automate tasks
* Resolve general technical issues between platforms

Skills and Experience Required:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Preferably with ERP support experience.
* Ability to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
* Strong IT and systems background and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
* Detailed understanding of common business practices for E-commerce
* Can exercise strong problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking
* (Optional) Understanding of Suite Scripts 2.0, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Jquery, Suite lets, User Event scripts, Client scripts, Scheduled scripts and Rest
* Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Information Technology required.
* Experience with application development – e.g. Bash script, SOAP/REST, XSLT.
* Experience with Integration, API management
* Knowledge of SQL and other server-side languages.
* Familiarity with AWS deployment
* Familiarity with Data Analytics software, business intelligence and related languages like DAX and R
