JOB OVERVIEW

Are you a creative and “figure-it-out” developer looking to join a company where everyone LOVES their job? Do you take pride in creating scripts, apps, and theme modifications for Shopify, WooCommerce, or Wordpress? Do you want to see the code you write impact millions of people around the world? Then this is the perfect position for you.

ABOUT THE POSITION
As a member of our software development team, you will become absolutely essential to our company. You'll work closely with our CEO and other key-members of the development team as you work through technical challenges and interesting problems to help our growing ecommerce company reach new heights.

Taking on this position is not an easy task, so do not apply if you're not up for the challenge. So we can verify that you are actually interested in this position and have fully read the job post, make sure your subject title for your application includes the word “candy.”

Logistical Requirements:

- Fluent, Perfect English
- Fast, Reliable Internet Connection
- Strong understanding of the Shopify API and product ecosystem

For your application to be considered, you must:

(1) Include a brief description and timeline of your experience in web development and/or IT system development.

(2) Pretend you are a professor teaching computer science to second-year college Upgrade to see actual info one paragraph or less, explain a complicated web development topic as simply as possible. You can choose any topic you feel that are an expert at.

(3) Answer the following 6 questions in a few sentences each:
A. Of all the web development projects you’ve ever worked on, which one was the most challenging? Was it for a ecommerce company? How did the project finish? (Include a link to a GitHub repo if you have one).
B. Which programming languages and tech stacks are you best at?
C. Do you also code personal projects for fun? What have you built?
D. What about this position most appeals to you?
E. Have you worked on a development team before? How big was the team? What was that experience like?
F. Outside of computer science, what are you passionate about and why?
