JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a full-time Procurement & Accounts Payables Specialist, with experience in procurement & cost analysis and cost reduction. This person will join a team of 4 in the Accounts/Finance team.

This position is open to candidates based in the Philippines only with previous experience working for international companies, and it is expected the successful candidate works AEST hours, in a full-time capacity.

Day to day: This person will be responsible for ensuring all payables receipts, transactions and invoices are allocated to the correct departments, by following up with staff and liaising with suppliers.

The Strategic: On a weekly or monthly basis- this person will be responsible for analysing our spend, and identifying ways the business can save money in the long run, and implementing cost reduction strategies.

The successful candidate must have experience in cost analyses and finance modelling, and is confident to liaise & negotiate with international suppliers and vendors.


Responsibilities:

· Check, cross check, verify and approve invoices & expenses.
This will include:
o Credit Card management- (Airwallex, AMEX & VISA) Approx 100 per week
o Batch Payments (approx 50 per week)
· Identify any irregularities and follow up with the appropriate staff members and/or service providers
· Manage payables inbox
· Following up on staff and supplier invoices
· Handing over checked and verified invoices and expenses to our 3rd party bookkeeper
· Looking at monthly expenses and outgoings and identifying where we can save money.
· Completing cost analyses and finance modelling
· Build documents and implement processes

Requirements:

· Excellent communication skills & the ability to liaise with external supplies & parties
· Experience in a fast-paced working environment
· Understanding of cost analysis and cost reduction
· High level understanding of MS Office, and Google Suite
· You must have previous experience working for an International Country- Ideally AUS/ UK/ USA/CANADA


Preferred but not essential:

· Experience with XERO
· Ideally similar experience in FMCG, Retail or Logistics
