JOB OVERVIEW

Westside Nannies is a nationally recognized, award-winning staffing agency that specializes in finding exceptional nannies, private educators, and newborn care specialists for busy families throughout the Los Angeles area and beyond. We are a small, quickly growing company run by a team of smart, savvy women and are looking to add a strong writer to our recruiting team!

The schedule for this position is 40 hours per week (8 hours per day). For the most part you may dUpgrade to see actual info the hours/schedule you would like to work but we would like 1-2 hours of overlap from 6:00pm-8:00pm Philippines Standard Time (which is 9:00am to 11:00am Pacific Standard Time and the beginning of our day in Los Angeles.) For example, you could work 12:00pm-8:00pmPST or have a split shift where you work in the earlier part of the day and log back on for 1-2 hours in the evening. Salary is Php 30,000-50,000/month depending on Upgrade to see actual info addition to salary we provide 6 paid US holidays, performance-based bonuses, and 13-month pay. We pay via Upwork on a weekly basis.

Duties include email management, reviewing and responding to emails promptly, working to keep our records and CRM accurate and up to date, creating detailed CVs for candidates based on their experience, updated CVs for candidates who we’ve worked with in the past who are coming back with additional experience, writing engaging and compelling biographies for each candidate highlighting their unique talents and strengths, and using Adobe InDesign to finalize each resume.

This role requires English fluency and excellent English writing abilities. You should have exceptionally good grammar, understand American slang and idioms, and be adept at both technical writing (to ensure the CVs are accurate) while also having a talent for creative writing (to write engaging biographies) for each candidate.

Someone who is extremely detail orientated is a MUST in this role – we are looking for someone who can ensure documents are correct – even noticing if there is an extra space or missing punctuation within a document. If you’re someone who is a natural perfectionist and doesn’t stop until you get something exactly right than you will be the perfect fit!

Lastly, candidates must also be extremely tech savvy and be a quick learner on various software, have strong and reliable internet (as well as a back-up internet source for power outages), and own a computer and smart phone (we utilize various apps).
