Financial Controller / Accountant

Hey! 80Twenty Capital is looking for a Finance Controller to join an International eCommerce Company.

We are seeking for an experienced financial analyst to assist the CFO in managing three global e-commerce businesses, with a heavy focus on the Amazon sales channel.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement strategies around cash flow forecasting and preparing budgets.
-Financial analysis on profitability trends, seasonal spikes, and purchasing.
-Inventory management to ensure products are in-stock and we have appropriate safety stock levels.
-Monitor financial progress using web analytic tools and provide KPI reports to the leadership team
-Incorporate optimization strategies, analyze data, and research the best ways to increase profitability
-Monitor COGS and update with new input costs based on shipping, tariffs, and other various changing costs


Required Skills and Qualifications:

-At least five years of finance/accounting experience required
-Experience in using Quickbooks
-Experience in managing books for the US or international-based company
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience
-Ecommerce experience
-Certifications such as CPA and the like are a plus
-Excellent navigation of Microsoft Excel (pivot table, charts, advanced knowledge of formulas and functions, etc.)
-Excellent analytical and time-management skills
-Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple brands
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Compensation and Benefits:

-Hourly pay will be based on experience: ranging from $5 - $8 per hour
-Annual salary increase based on performance
-1 PTO credit per month of service as well as 13th month & Performance bonus
-Holiday PTO provided

Working Hours:

-8 AM to 5 PM CST
-Has some flexibility in the future
