We are looking for an Social Media Specialist to join our growing Social Media team! The correct candidate should be working at a marketing agency right now as a social media specialist, social media strategist, social media manager or equivelant. You should have at least 2 years of experience an agency if you plan to apply for this position. This means you manage multiple social media platforms for several clients at once.
This is a remote position for The Ad Firm. Workdays are from 8am-5pm PST with the possibility of switching to 4am-12pm after the initial probationary period. We are a digital marketing agency that has been consistently growing our clients’ companies online since 2009. We have been awarded numerous times for both our output work and also our atmosphere for our team. We specialize in not only helping companies grow but also clearly tracking the success we bring to each of our clients.
Role Purpose:
Create social media strategies for brand awareness and grow followings on platforms such as
Qualifications
Able to demonstrate editorial / journalistic writing ability
Ideally 2+ years developing and executing creative social campaigns, preferably across a variety of verticals on LinkedIn, Instagram,
Experience with Google Analytics, Slack, Sprout Social,
Strong writing and editing skills (in American English), has examples of social written content to share
Experience with social media management platforms (Sprout Social preferred)
Experienced with using Canva required
2+ Agency Experience owning and managing social media accounts for at least 10 clients Required
Experience writing case studies on the work being done in-house
Ability to work independently, quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and project management skills
Welcomes feedback from tea
Responsibilities
Identifies and monitors emerging trends in social media, lifestyle/consumer content relevant to respective audiences; engages with audiences on various platforms through smart content, community and channel strategy; handles day-to-day community management
Create content, post content, optimize content, and also analyze data insights to help grow our audience and our clients' audiences
Manage day-to-day of all social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram,
Scheduling posts on
Respond to comments and messages in addition to engaging in discussions with the audience, noting recurring themes, troubleshooting and elevating issues as needed
Acts as the voice of the client; provides insights to stakeholders through social listening
Ensures content is on time and aligned with brand standards and strategic goals
Schedule, edit, and publish content on social media platforms such as
Develops high-level creative assets using Canva that follow brand guidelines
Build and maintain content calendars
Measure and optimize content strategy based on analytics
Pull / Build reports for clients
