JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for someone with a proven skill set in bookkeeping, VAT/ Sales tax accounting and returns.

MUST have a minimum of 5 years experience in an accounting firm servicing small clients and be an applicant for a full-time position.

They will hold a Xero Adviser Certification and have a minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience.

The role is full-time for 5 days per week, working 2pm to 10pm PHT for a UK High Street Accounting firm, supporting the small business clients.

You will be required to write client emails and participate in internal telephone and video calls regularly.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
* Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
* Update and maintain the general ledger
* Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
* Recording of debits and credits
* Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
* Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
* Managing and reconciling bank accounts and credit cards
* Processing sales and purchase invoices, receipts, and payments
* Sales and purchase ledger maintenance
* Credit control
* Petty cash, credit card, and director’s expense management
* Management of staff expenses charge cards
* Processing and reconciling VAT/Sales Tax returns
* Standard Journal Entries
* Liasing with clients for additional information
* Implementing new accounting procedures
* Answering emails
* Organisation and filing of financial paperwork
* Assisting in the updating of cash flow reports, budgets, and forecasts
* Ability to take books to trial balance
