B. ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Ideal Candidate

You have extensive experience in managing contracts, agreements and other legal documents in a corporate environment. You are pro-active, detail-oriented and a highly organized individual. You are comfortable liaising with stakeholders and other business managers to managing the contract lifecycle.

Expected Work Hours and Timezone
You are expected to work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with fixed weekends off. You will be strictly following US business hours. Option to work on-site once or twice a week is also offered with an incentive.

As a Commercial Contracts Analyst, you will provide excellence by:

- Maintains contractual pricing terms and service level agreements (SLAs) in the Fieldglass for executed contracts or as a result of contractual amendments
- Monitors change control procedures in drafting changes to the base contracts ensuring consistency between previous contracts and new contract or amendments
- Ensures all contract records are maintained for the appropriate retention period according to corporate policy and regulatory protocols
- Educates internal staff on current and contractual changes to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, governmental and corporate requirements.
- Collaborates with cross-functional category team and category managers to assist with the development and delivery of category strategies and the achievement of targeted results
- Works with category manager and business owners to manage the contract lifecycle; renewal, expiry, termination and contract amendment process
- Understands contract law and applicable legislation
- Evaluates risks, specifically supplier and contract risk assessment and management
- Monitors and alerts appropriate stakeholders (e.g. business users, sourcing, supplier relationship management (SRM) leads) on expiring contracts up for renewal and ensure central accessibility of all procurement and non-procurement contracts
- Monitors contract compliance and enables resolution of contract performance and service delivery issues.

Requirements
Do you have what it takes to be our Contracts Analyst?

Consider yourself highly qualified if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Legal Management, and/or Business Administration or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant handling commercial contract drafting, negotiations, and risk assessment
- Expert in management & inventory of contracts and/or other legal documents
- Possess a basic understanding of contract law and applicable legislation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn firm-issued tools; Familiar with MS Office, SAP Fielglass, SRM
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
