Accountant - Bookkeeper

An Accounting Practice In Ireland Is Seeking An Accountant – Bookkeeper To Work From Home In The Philippines?

• Do you have 2+ years, experience working for an accounting practice or bookkeeping firm?
• Do you have an accounting Degree and are CPA qualified?
• Do you have Excellent English – speaking, reading and writing?
• Clear Group, a professional/ cloud based accounting practice are excited to be recruiting a remote professional working from home in the Philippines !
• We are a XERO based practice using HUB DOC to collect sales, purchase invoices and bank information from clients to carry out bookkeeping and accounting procedures.

The Responsibilities:

• Review and publish purchase invoices and receipt from HUB DOC to XERO
• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations in XERO
• Download and complete Paypal, Go Cardless and Stripe, bank reconciliations in XERO
• Post Payroll and other Manual and Transfer Journals
• Analysis and reconciliation of control and balance sheet accounts
• Creditor reconciliations
• Debtor reconciliations
• Prepare and file VAT returns
• Create sales invoices, bills
• Importing, exporting and creating transactions and reports
• Liaising with suppliers and customers for invoices and statements
• Preparing year end files for audit
• Prepare financial statements

Requirements:

• Be experienced and have worked for a professional services firm for 2+ years
• Be committed to working from home
• Experience and excellent working ability on XERO
• Excellent working ability on Excel, Word
• You write good English: concise, understandable, helpful, professional, and fast.
• You can build rapport and relationships with others
• A working knowledge of Ireland or UK VAT would be a bonus
• You have great attention to detail
• You're self-motivated and have previous experience working remotely with little supervision
• You have a great and reliable internet connection
• You know how to keep your computer and work secure and private
• You are experienced using two monitors for bookkeeping work.
• To pass a double entry online test
• Have a dedicated work space free from distractions

About The Role:

• This is a fully remote working from home role. You will have flexibility in choosing your regular work hours. You will be required to be available from 9am to 1pm IST

• We pay 13th month in December
