Hello—we’re Trialfacts, a remote entrepreneurial company, and without us, a lot of medical research would not be possible. We’re searching for an EMAIL MARKETING SPECIALIST to help our team solve our clients’ biggest problem. If you’re looking for a position where you can set your own hours, take holidays as you see fit, work remotely from home or anywhere in the world, and help medical research succeed, then please read on.

Today’s highly sophisticated medical system has added nearly 20 years of life expectancy, reduced infant mortality by 90% and maternal mortality by 99%. Polio, leprosy, smallpox, and tuberculosis are practically eradicated, even in the poorest countries in the world. More recently, medical researchers around the world have come together to create a variety of vaccines to combat COVID-19 and we helped by assisting Moderna COVID vaccine studies in the US. There’s plenty of room for improvement, but advances in health that have been achieved over the past 20 years are due to new medications, medical devices and understanding developed through health research.

OUR CLIENTS — academic researchers and medical research organizations, are working hard to continue to develop treatments and devices, increase our understanding, eradicate sickness and improve quality of life. Their biggest challenge is spending half of their time searching for and never being able to recruit enough of the participants required for their health research. Some of our clients include Bayer, Brown University, Duke University, Harvard, Johns Hopkins University, Joslin Diabetes Centre, Mount Sinai Hospital, Stanford University, the University of Oxford, the University of Sydney, the University of Melbourne, the Westmead Institute for Medical Research, and Yale.

OUR COMPANY — Trialfacts, removes the biggest hurdle and frustration to conducting their research, by recruiting the participants they require for their health research, and many times thereby saving their research. WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:

Strategize — At Trialfacts, we recruit volunteers and patients for our clients’ studies through our website as well as social media channels like Facebook. However, one of the most valuable channels is our own email database of potential participants that can be converted into referrals for our clients’ studies. We need you to actively grow this database by exploring creative ways to increase email engagement and relevance through automated campaigns, re-engagement campaigns, and other email marketing strategies.

Report — In order to understand if we are making an impact on growing the most valuable recruitment channel in Upgrade to see actual info will be your job to understand the key metrics of our email campaigns and performance and suggest ways to improve on these.

Collaborate — You will be working closely with the Advertising team to create the best possible email campaigns that convert potential participants from our database into referrals. Specifically, Megan , our Recruitment Manager, who will help guide you as you head up this recruitment channel.

Nick Karrasch, CEO —I’m an Australian currently living in Melbourne, after spending the last 5 years in Canada. I started Trialfacts, and also previously founded a business and sales funnel automation consultancy. I have interests in medical research, entrepreneurship, learning, futurology, meditation and psychology. My weaknesses include craft beer, good coffee, trying to emulate ultra-successful entrepreneurs, and a nerdy love of hard sci-fi and rational Upgrade to see actual infolinda Gomez, Integrator — Melinda is responsible for overseeing all areas of the business and leading the sales team. With a background in sales, client services, and operations, she enjoys implementing new strategies and interacting with clients from around the globe. She is originally from Boston, Massachusetts but is currently enrolled in an MBA program in Lisbon, Portugal. She loves to travel, and during some of her favorite trips she has visited filming locations for Game of Thrones, snorkeled with manatees, and practiced Upgrade to see actual infogan Wolff, Recruitment Manager — Megan is responsible for overall management of the recruitment team by leading new projects and innovation to provide leading recruiting solutions for our Upgrade to see actual infogan has developed and grown brands across the world with creative digital solutions which guides her recruitment strategies for high quality Upgrade to see actual infogan currently resides in South Africa where she lives her passion for the ocean through scuba diving, ocean conservation activities and swims competitively.

THIS POSITION IS FOR YOU IF YOU:

Have relevant email experience — in at least one major ESP, preferably Active Campaign, our email marketing software. You’re expected to manage daily operations of the email recruitment (marketing) channel – strategy and content, build and deployment of email campaigns, as well as A/B testing, measurement and reporting.

Are able to translate data into actionable insights — you’re expected to be able to track and analyse key performance metrics to develop creative strategies on how to improve and grow our email database Upgrade to see actual infon write in American and Australian English — you're expected to know the difference and adapt your email copy accordingly.
Are highly organized — you'll be managing multiple email campaigns. If you're not highly organized and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, then you're not a good-fit for this role.

Are flexible — in an entrepreneurial business we sometimes have to wear different hats. We're looking for someone who takes ownership and wants to help grow our company. If you're the kind of person who would rather sit back and say "that's not my responsibility" then please don't apply.

Are tech-savvy — you must be 100% comfortable with using online work tools like Slack, Basecamp, Pipedrive, Loom, Google Docs, and more.
