Junior DataOps Developer

Job Description
This position is for a Junior DataOps which will work within our multidisciplinary team in order to both support Data Reports as well as help refine our Data processing infrastructure. The role will entail interacting with multiple technologies in order to process Big Data, help automate ETLs as well as ensuring Data delivery to our multiple clients within pre-established timelines. The technologies include: AWS Athena/Glue, Presto, PostGreSQL, Python, BI Tools for Data visualisation and some more internal tools.

Responsibilities
- Provide support for incoming data generation requests
- Monitor data deliveries and data quality
- Automate Data deliveries
- Data Analysis and investigation on potential data inconsistencies
- Contribute to the Data Lake infrastructure and help shape its future
- Proactively collaborate with teammates and project stakeholders in Agile Scrum

Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of data exposure experience (ex: Data analytics, ETL management, BI Tools)
- Strong understanding of SQL
- Experience with automation and scripting languages (Bash, Python, other..)
- Some experience working with Cloud Infrastructures (AWS)
- Experience with Git
- Uses either Mac OSX or Linux as main work environment

Bonus skills
- Experience with Docker
- Familiar with continuous integration tools (eg: Circle-ci, Jenkins)
- Experience with Customer service
