Technical recruiter

Responsibilities:

Source candidates with the appropriate background and experience for each assigned position via job boards, professional and social networks like Linkedin, Indeed, etc.,
Reach out to the identified candidates via phone, text, email, social networks, and phone to share the details of the new opportunity
Review candidates' resumes, phone screen candidates, identifying specific strengths and weaknesses and then use critical thinking to determine if they are a good fit for the requirements
Write/type recruiter notes and candidate assessment summaries and why they would be a good fit for the position
Maintain contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
Perform other related duties as needed or as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
At least 2 years of recruiting experience for technical roles (the more the better)
Familiarity with technical terms and programming languages
Strong command of written and spoken English
Strong interpersonal, networking, and communication skills
Critical thinking and flexibility when faced with changing priorities
Experience with multiple sourcing techniques (e.g. social media, internet recruiting, internal database, referrals, etc.)
Ability to maintain a database and pipeline of candidates
Proven experience with recruiting and applicant tracking tools
Knowledge of assessment techniques specific for each role
Extremely detail oriented
Must have access to reliable broadband internet connection
Nice to have:
Experience recruiting for the US employers
Experience with recruiting candidates for both permanent, and contract positions
Experience recruiting for the financial industry
Experience drafting job advertisements and formatting resumes
Prior experience or education in technology is very helpful
Hours:
Full time, 40-hour work week
Flexible, requires significant overlap with Eastern Time Zone hours between 9am and 7pm
Compensation commensurate with experience, performance bonuses
