Full stack Developer (Vue JS & MongoDB)

Role involves providing technical leadership for the front-end and the backend, as well as participating as an active member of the Engineering team which is responsible for the Client's Upgrade to see actual infon-negotiable technical skills are Vue.js, MongoDB and practical experience in a widely used backend Javascript framework.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies trends and providing direction for enhancements to the technology stack used by Bench
-Active participation in designing and building new parts of the platform
- Work with the product team to translate scope into detailed requirements and document technical solutions in JIRA / Confluence
-Work directly with the product team to design and develop software solutions for clients and internal stakeholders
-Use modern best practices and techniques in software development
-Ensure all deliverables are properly and thoroughly tested as per internal testing guidelines
-Communicate and manage expectations of all stakeholders
-Meet the scope, timelines and expected quality for all software deliverables
-Participate in daily standups and provide regular updates on work in progress
-Review code of other developers and provide constructive feedback
-Participate in all the required agile ceremonies
-Efficiently identify and solve issues in the platform
-Adopt continuous learning and improvement processes in all aspects of the position.
-Understand, implement, participate and promote Company Policies and Procedures, and
-Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) objectives, processes and procedures.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
-Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering Degree or equivalent Experience Required
-4+ years experience as a Full stack developer with advanced knowledge and experience in Vue.js, MongoDB and a backend Javascript framework (Meteor framework is a nice to have)
-Experience in CI/CD pipelines in either CloudFormation or Terraform
-2+ years experience in Scrum / Kanban agile methodologies
-Experience working on a variety of software development projects

Computer Skills
-Knowledge in web languages - HTML, CSS, JavaScript
-Knowledge of Docker, preferably on AWS (ECS or Fargate)
-Knowledge of a GIT version control platform such as Gitlab or GitHub
-Experience using Jira and Confluence

Aptitude & Interpersonal Skills
-Strong communication skills
-Good proficiency in the English language
-Highly organized, proactive and confident character
-Strong technical and problem solving skills
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
