WordPress Content Formatter For Niche Websites

This job would be working for a web content publishing business that operates primarily in the animals and wildlife niche. I need someone to prepare articles that have already been written and added to WordPress for publishing. This includes 2 main tasks:

1. Making sure the text (HTML) is well-formatted and up to my specifications.
2. Sourcing and inserting relevant images for the articles.

There would be a steady flow of articles to be formatted coming in but when you're caught up there would be other tasks such as building internal links or working on older articles. For this full-time position I would expect 8-10 articles per day minimum.

There will typically be no editing of the content, only formatting the HTML and sourcing images. You would follow specific instructions for both of these tasks, SOPs and guides will be provided along with training froUpgrade to see actual info. An excellent grasp of the English language and ability to speak it conversationally is required since you will be reviewing web content written in English for a U.S. audience.

You will communicate with me daily via end of day email correspondence where you show your work for the day.

You may be working in Google Drive, Google Sheets, WordPress, Canva, and other softwares. You'll need access to an image editor of some type that would allow you to crop, optimize, and resize images. You may eventually have other related job duties within the business.

Starting terms:
(Plenty of room for salary growth after trial period)

-30 day trial period
-Start at $500/mo if hired full-time (40 hrs/week)
-2 weeks vacation/year
-13th month
-Pay via PayPal on the 1st and 15th


-Familiarity with WordPress
-Excellent English language skills and the ability to speak and communicate at a near-native level
-Ability to source and download highly relevant, free to use images using my exact methods
-Ability to credit said images specifically according to my instructions
-An eye for detail and be meticulous in your work
-Familiarity with Google Suite is a plus
-A reliable computer and internet access
-Ability to work quickly and with accuracy and pick up new skills as we go
-Be reliable and easy to get in touch with

Additional skills and interests that will make you stand out:

-Knowledge of North America and United States geography (states, cities, landmarks)
-Some knowledge of North American and United States animals and wildlife
-Knowledge of world wildlife and animals
-A general interest in animals or wildlife and the ability to recognize different species and subspecies

In closing, I don't expect anyone to be perfect. I'm willing to train the right person in my systems. All I ask is that I not have to repeat myself over and over when you make a mistake.
