Accounts Payable Professional - GL & Manual Journal Experience Required!

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our client’s team! This role would be best for an individual with extensive knowledge of the accounts payables process including general ledger and manual journal entries. The position requires above-average attention to detail, concern for the exact correctness of work, and a strong commitment to tasks completed on time. The person in this position will take work seriously, has a strong sense of duty, and is disciplined. A somewhat faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Exercise high-quality standards in the accounts payable function
Provide accounting insight to support process improvements & financial close efficiency
Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables
Protect business from unnecessary overpayments
Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made in a timely manner

Qualifications:
Required experience with accounts payable, general ledger, and manual journal entries
Experience using multiple ERPs
Fluent in English (written and oral communication)
Willing to work U.S. hours
