Shopify Mid Developer

We are seeking a Shopify Mid Developer to oversee and maintain clients’ company websites both front end and back end. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Shopify Liquid Code, including building custom themes and features from scratch along with modifications to existing elements and expert-level knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS & JavaScript, and conversion rate optimization for landing pages.

Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging and effective category and marketing landing pages & websites based on creative direction.
- Establish a scalable and reusable template(s) for our clients’ category and marketing landing pages.
- Utilize insights from research and analytics to form new design solutions.
- Ensure consistent performance on all major devices/browsers, including fast load times and bug-free core functionality with a focus on mobile optimization and performance.
- Construct design solutions with the SEO team with a focus on improving website usability.
- Run extensive QA to ensure performance consistency across key devices and browsers.
- Analyzing landing pages, product information, checkout options, and all other pertinent website-related systems to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use.
- Collaborating with an appropriate team to ensure the rollout of website changes.
- Teaming up with our SEO Specialists to increase the online presence of our website.
- Scheduling and communicating site maintenance, as needed.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Shopify Backend development with in-depth Liquid template language skill, Ajax API knowledge, and an understanding of how Shopify apps function.
- Extensive Shopify Frontend development experience, including building custom themes and features from scratch as well as modifications to existing elements.
- Expert HTML, CSS/SCSS & some JavaScript knowledge required.
- Deep understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions.
- Data migration
- Extremely sharp, fast working, knowledgeable web developer/designer.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Write clean, documented code with annotations.
- Ability to effectively perform high volume tasks with tight deadlines.
- Manage multiple projects in tandem.
