JOB OVERVIEW

Require someone focused on the creation, production and planning of written, visual and audio content for Talking HealthTech.

The role involves managing content on the website, editing podcast episodes, creating graphics, editing videos, managing social media and working with the CEO on content planning.

The purpose of recruiting for this role is to increase capability in the business to allow the CEO to focus on more strategic and growth orientated activities to help expand the business, rather than production tasks that are important to the business.

Key Performance Indicator 1: Podcast Production & Planning
* Edit podcast episodes using Descript and other tools as required, including cleaning up filler words and other issues in recordings, and inserting intro/outro music and other elements in podcast episodes
* Write show notes based on key discussion points in the episode
* Listen through from start to finish to ensure podcast episode flow is consistent, conversational and informative, and consistent with the Talking HealthTech brand
* Coordinate episode thumbnail graphics and format to ensure it’s consistent
* Schedule episodes on website, podcast players and social media
* Monitoring to ensure episodes go live as planned
* Work with CEO and team on content planning

Key Performance Indicator 2: Video Production
* Edit Summit (webinar) sessions, livestreams and other video recordings using Descript and other tools as required
* Load up into Vimeo, Website and socials ensuring privacy restrictions appropriately managed
* Write notes for videos based on content covered
* Identify interesting parts of podcast episodes and videos, and convert them into audiograms or snippets to post on social media to ensure regular content posted online

Key Performance Indicator 3: Website Content Management
* Manage updates and oversight of the Talking HealthTech website
* Make updates as instructed or as needed
* Address any issues or updates as they arise
* Continually improve the layout and format of the website, thinking about user flow and how users interact with the website
* Continually optimising SEO
* Providing reporting as required via Google Analytics and other tools to CEO and team
* Uploading and linking new glossary terms and related articles

Key Performance Indicator 4: Graphic Design
* Generating graphics using Canva for podcast episodes, Summit sessions
* Ensuring branding and tone is consistent across all aspects of visual designs
* Coordinating with other contracted graphic designers from time to time like vector portrait artists and animators


Key Performance Indicator 5: Social Media Management
* Schedule posts about new podcast episodes, optimising tagging and hashtags
* Plan socials calendar to ensure coverage across all social media platforms
* Keep across trends and requirements and suggest new and creative ways to reach audiences

Key Performance Indicator 6: Newsletter
* Prepare the weekly newsletter which summarises all the key activities and promotes different aspects of the community
* Tweak subject lines, CTAs and content for maximum engagement and conversion
* Proactively source content from within the team to prepare each newsletter by the deadline

Key Performance Indicator 7: News, Events, Jobs
* Proactively look for content to post as News, Events and Jobs from companies on the Talking HealthTech directory
* Build networks and connections to source new industry updates from sources like hospitals, clinics and other stakeholders
* Modify and manage content on the website, editing as needed

Key Performance Indicator 8: Sales & Podcast Guesting Lead Gen
* Shortlist potential sales leads via linkedin and input to spreadsheet in agreed format for automated follow up
* Shortlist potential podcasts for CEO to appear on and input to spreadsheet in agreed format for automated follow up

Key Performance Indicator 9: General & Other tasks
* Be open to contributing feedback and ideas on all creative aspects of Talking HealthTech
* Other ad-hoc tasks as required and directed
