ABOUT THE ROLE:
Responsibilities:
- Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads
- Support senior sales teams and sales representatives on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
- Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
- Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
- Developing sales strategies to draw in potential clients
- Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
- Conducting product presentations to the customers.
- Moving solid leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging meetings.
- Performing regular follow-up calls or
- Collaborating with sales executives to ensure the company's goals and targets are
- A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field.
- Successful completion of coursework in sales techniques, marketing, and communication is a huge plus
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Good time management and analytical skills.
- Good telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills.
- Have experience using prospecting applications while keeping track of dead-end leads
- Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment
- You love closing deals using complex market research and focusing on continuous learning and improvement
- Thorough understanding of commercial awareness and brand recognition to successfully establish rapport with prospects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both verbal and written
- A working understanding of emerging technologies in both the digital and physical
Desired Skills:
- Has a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and make new connections with prospects
- Experience in business development, grant writing, and professional writing
- Strong working knowledge of CRM software is a plus
