JOB OVERVIEW

Are you looking to work at the forefront of digital commerce development?

We are growing and require a talented intermediate to senior PHP full-stack developer. Experience working with Magento/Adobe Commerce is essential in this role, and other E-commerce platforms would be an advantage.

As a member of our support team, the Support Developer will resolve website support requests. They will identify and document website bugs and issues, troubleshoot, implement and deploy updates for our customers based predominantly in New Upgrade to see actual info addition, the Support Developer will carry out projects as assigned and work cross-functionally with other departments in providing Tin Soldier customers with a world class service delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reproduce and investigate bugs and issues, determine if escalation to senior developers or Technical Director is required.
- Resolve any tickets and issues that do not require escalation, by carrying out front-end and back-end development
- Troubleshoot where a straight-forward solution does not exist and provide an accurate estimate of time required to the Tin Soldier ticket owner
- Communicate with ticket submitter and stakeholders to acquire additional details or evidence and provide regular updates on progress.
- Ensure clients SLA’s are adhered to and higher priority issues addressed first
- Deploy fixes and smoke test to ensure a seamless client experience
- Provide helpful and professional support to clients, maintaining good communication via email and phone.
- Take part in Tin Soldiers after-hours support roster and time-to-time provide on-call support after-hours and on the weekends.
- Assist and support other developers with investigation of issues.

The successful candidate:

The successful candidate will currently be working in a Web support Technician Team and be a problem solver who actively seeks to find simple, cost-effective solutions to problems with minimal instruction. Superior and clear communication skills will be a key component for success in this fast-moving Upgrade to see actual infodividuals who have a positive attitude, a clear sense of initiative and be passionate about self-development will suit our Upgrade to see actual info is essential the you can start work at 10am NZT (6am Phillipines).

Skills and qualifications:

- Customer service skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Intermediate to senior level PHP coding knowledge, including PHP 7.xx and composer usage
- Intermediate to senior level Html 5 knowledge.
- Intermediate to senior level CSS knowledge, including LESS and SASS.
- Intermediate to senior level JavaScript and the jQuery framework knowledge.
- Intermediate to senior level MySQL database knowledge.
- Intermediate to senior level git version control knowledge.
