Medical Biller and Collector

Medical Biller and Collector with the following qualifications
1. Salary $Upgrade to see actual info/month via PayPal depending on experience
2. Fluent in English verbal and writing
3. Full understand of Billing/Collection including HICFA forms, Contracting, ICD10, CPT Code with at least 4 years of billing and Collection
4. Full understanding of reading EOBs, make appropriate adjustments, rebill balances, understanding of modifiers necessary to get the bill corrected and resubmitted, able to use clearing houses for electronic billing
5. Fluent in Excel and word, outlook calendar and being able to produce spread sheet report, work from them, and modify to optimize them as needed.
6. Understanding appeal process for unpaid bills,
7. Knowledge of California Workers Compensation System/Terminology is a plus (can train, but self-motivated learning is important)
8. Orthopedic Surgery background, coding, and surgical coding with modifier is a plus (can train if necessary, but self-motivated learning is important )
9. EMR knowledge of NexGen is a Plus
10. Must have own efficient computer/laptop
11. IP phone will be supplied to the qualified candidate after a trial period
12. Must have high speed internet service
13. Must have good understanding of Medical terminology
14. Must be self-motivated/ Problem Solver/Willing to do independent learning with some guidance
15. Must be (very important) to be organized, have excellent follow through, and chase accounts until they are fully paid/adjusted
16. Must be available Pacific time 8-5pm (Lunch break and other short brake included in this time) Monday-Friday 40 hours a week.
17. Must have a Bachelor’s degree
18. Must Sign HIPPA compliance forms and Independent contractor Documents
19. Positive and respectable attitude is a must
